How it works
- Paste 5 of your own posts once. Dictapost writes a short style profile: your sentence length, your punctuation habits, words you use and words you never use. You read it and change what is wrong.
- Click into any text field. Hold Ctrl+Alt and talk. Release.
- The transcript gets cleaned against your profile: spelling, punctuation, fillers, run-on sentences. Content, order and wording stay yours. The text appears at the cursor.
- Not happy? A preview mode shows the text first, you edit, then insert. Thumbs down with a reason teaches the next version.
Also works on typed text: select what you wrote, press Ctrl+Shift+E, done. Any language the model knows. Output in the language you spoke.

Prices include VAT where it applies. Cancel any time in the billing portal. Free users pay their provider directly, usually under 1 EUR a month.
Privacy
The server keeps nothing. Audio goes to the speech-to-text provider, the transcript goes to the language model, the result comes back to your browser. Then it is gone. Logs hold a status code, a duration and a byte count. Your style profile lives in your browser, not on our server.
You pick where processing happens: USA (Groq) or EU (Mistral, servers in France). With your own key or a local model, nothing reaches our server at all.
Feedback is opt-in. If you turn it on, we receive the rating and a word-level diff between what was suggested and what you posted. Never the whole text.

Questions
Does it rewrite my text?No. It fixes spelling, punctuation and grammar, removes "um" and repeated words, and splits sentences that ran on while you talked. It does not pick nicer words, add a hook or a closing line. If it does, that is a bug, and the thumbs-down button is how you report it.
How is this different from Wispr Flow or Grammarly?Those learn a style in a black box and some of them keep your history. Dictapost's profile is a text file you can read and edit. The server keeps nothing. And you can run it on your own model.
Which languages?Any language the models handle, which covers all major European languages and many more. You speak German, you get German. Mixed languages stay mixed.
Does it work outside the browser?Not yet. Dictapost is a Chrome extension. Firefox follows. A desktop companion for Mac and Windows is on the list.
What happens after the 1,000 founder seats?Pro at 6 EUR a month. Founders keep 12 EUR a year as long as their subscription runs.
